Thommo’s best bets for Saturday’s EPL TV game

Saturday 12.30: Leicester v Manchester City
Manchester City win 2-0
Erling Haaland will score at any time

Saturday 17.30: Fulham v Everton
Fulham win and both teams score
Aleksandar Mitrovic will score at any moment

Saturday 19.45: Liverpool against Leeds
Liverpool win to nil
Darwin Nunez scores anytime

Saturday 12.30: Leicester v Manchester City

TV: BT Sport 1

I think Manchester City will win this. It’s hard to bet against them, isn’t it? That said, Leicester, are they turning the corner? Obviously Brendan Rodgers will hope so because I think he led the kicking race.

They look set to pack a punch in the last two and are unbeaten in their last three Premier League home games, winning two of them. They haven’t conceded in these three either, which was much needed because they had a torrid time.

But how can you bet against Manchester City? They’ve scored 36 goals, they’ve scored at least two goals in 18 of their last 20 Premier League games, so you expect them to score. I’m going for them to get two, and they’ve won six of their last seven meetings with Leicester.

I’m going for Manchester City to win. It is Erling Haaland will score at any time because he is in absolutely fine form, but he dropped early in the week against Borussia Dortmund. I go for City to keep a clean sheet so I think they will win 2-0.

Saturday 17.30: Fulham v Everton

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

This game is interesting because there are two teams that are doing well. Fulham have won the last two and scored three goals in each, which is quite a lot. They have scored 22 goals, and that is only topped by the top three in the Premier League, so it is a great record.

In their six home games they have scored 13, they have also conceded 11, so I think there will be goals in this one for both sides. Everton will be more than happy with their 3-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend, which was very, very good.

I like Fulham will win this but I think it will be very, very close and I think both teams will score. If you want a goalscorer, I think Mitrovic has had an absolutely excellent start to the season. I was one of those people who didn’t think he could hack it in the Premier League, but he has trumped it so it is Mitrovic will score at any moment.

Saturday 19.45: Liverpool against Leeds

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

This is a game that brings back many memories for me, playing in them as a young man against the likes of Billy Bremner and Johnny Giles. It was a bit of something! But back to today and Liverpool are unbeaten in 29 Premier League home games and have scored 73 goals in that time.

They won 1-0 in their last two Premier League home games against West Ham and Manchester City, so as you can see they are strong at home. Leeds, my God, Jesse Marsch is hanging on to his job very, very sorely at the moment.

They are without a win in eight Premier League games and have just one point from their last five away games, and they have lost their last four on the trot. You can see where I’m going with this, I’m going for a comfortable one Liverpool win to nil. I can’t see Leeds scoring.

I’ve gone with Mo Salah to score a lot this season, which has gone trumps for me, but I’m going for it Darwin Nunez scores anytime here. I think he’s on a real hot streak, he looks good, and I think he’s going to start.
