People are just realizing that every iPhone has a game-changing photo app hack
YOU can unnecessarily waste storage space on your iPhone.
Needless to say, iPhone storage is extremely valuable – so it’s important to avoid wasting it.

A top tip is to use Apple’s Photos app feature to remove duplicate photos.
This will automatically detect duplicate images and give you the option to remove them.
It is a new feature that was only made available in iOS 16.
So first go to Settings > General > Software Update and make sure you are using the latest iOS version.
It is very likely that you have a bunch of duplicate photos in your camera roll.
But tracking them manually will take some time, so let your iPhone do it for you.
To find them, first open the Apple Photos app.
Then go to Albums at the bottom, then scroll down until you see Duplicates at the bottom.
This is a special folder that allows you to review all duplicate media.
You can review each one and tap Merge to remove any duplicate photos or videos.
It is also possible to bulk merge by pressing Select at the top, then Select All, then Merge.
Unsupported iPhones
Unfortunately, it is possible that you may not be able to upgrade to iOS 16 and access this feature.
If you can upgrade to iOS 16, you’re good to go, but anyone with a very old iPhone model will be missing out.

Not being able to get the latest iOS means you lose access to the most up-to-date security fixes.
These are important updates that plug holes used by hackers to gain access to your systems.
So using a very old iPhone that cannot be updated can put you at risk.
If you can’t update to iOS 16, consider upgrading your iPhone sooner rather than later.
