Oven cleaning: How to clean yours – the ‘fun way’ praised by homeowners
Auri is a TikTok creator who shares her amazing cleaning hacks on her account @aurikatariina. She described herself as the queen of cleaning.
She has 8.1 million followers and has had 140.1 million likes for her cleaning hacks. She described a way to easily clean your oven using an expert trick. It’s “an easy and fun way to clean that dirty oven,” promised the cleaning expert, who also has 1.89 million subscribers on his YouTube account.
The expert from Finland explained: “First remove racks and then spread an environmentally friendly degreaser or washing-up liquid. Add paper to keep it moist, otherwise the product runs down the wall and it cannot affect the dirty parts of the oven.”
Auri sprays the cleaner liberally on the oven walls and then dabs kitchen roll over the spot and sprays again. This prevents the product from drying out, meaning it can work longer to eliminate stains.
“Meanwhile,” Auri said, “clearing the racks.” The cleaning influencer recommends a special product that’s tough on dirt, Scour Daddy Steel, a “commercial-grade dirt fighter.”

Auri said, “You just need water and a Steel Daddy. A regular sponge won’t work. You need steel power, trust me.” She continued: “After two hours, remove the paper from the inside of the oven and scrape the surface. Again, you need power, so use steel tools.
“A scraper won’t scratch your oven, but if you’re afraid, try it out on a small area first and you’ll see that it’s very easy and safe to use. Usually people have the right products, but they’re using the wrong ones tool. Put the racks back in the oven and wait, it’s clean.”

Danielle mixes up a quick and easy homemade solution to loosen some of the grime before wiping it away.
She said, “Take half a cup of baking soda, or more if needed, and mix in a little water at a time until smooth. Cover the oven window with the solution and let it soak for at least 20 minutes. Add some warm water and vinegar and use the scrubbing side of a sponge to clean. [Then] wipe off with a wet sponge.”
