Rotciv Ikias, 13 minutes agoIt is far from dead From OnePlus 10 pro, 10t even the upcoming 11 Oppo has will not allow you to install custom rooms anymore. It seems their policy has changed. Opplus is no longer friendly to developers for custom room development. OnePlus has finally settled with Oppo now. Wishing them happily ever after in their marriage “union of software sh#t”

Animations are faster than in MIUI. I don’t have Internet Health Smart Things Wear Pay and many Samsung apps. Only Bixby and Game Launcher. You can uncheck apps during initial setup or after factory reset. I just left Calculator and ticked others. Now my phone is pretty light. But 256 GB of storage space solves any problems with storage. I installed some apps and downloaded music with all updates installed and still 210GB is free.

Ram consumption is the same as OxygenOS 12
The battery consumption is the same, but it feels more responsive and more nicely pleasing and smooth to the eye. I see more animation which is soothing.

If your phone has not received the update. Whatever it is. Just look up which carrier has updated your phone. And get a sim from them or borrowed from someone. Wait for the phone to ask to switch. Click yes. And wait for it to turn on. Once on. Go to updates. And it will update. And let it do all updates and check again to see if there are any other new updates including security. When done, switch to your SIM card. And you’re done.

FishFace, 5 hours agoI was hoping Oneplus got back on its feet just like the old days. But I guess they don’t… anymoreThey’re dead as of OP 9. It’s oxygen-os anymore, it’s color-os with OnePlus makeup. Similar to realme ui, fun touch etc. Your only hope lies in Motorola, nothing, Asus, Google itself or go for aftermarket OS.
