Naraka: Bladepoint is not a typical entry into the battle royale genre. While these types of games mostly stick to the shooter genre, this game is a straight-up hack-and-slash extravaganza. In order for players to strengthen their character, they must choose the best talents. In this game, talents are divided into three categories: Traits, Skills, and Ultimates.
Choosing the best combination of talents among those they unlock will make the player’s character unstoppable when it comes to fighting in Trios or Solo. Creating the best design involves knowing what will have the greatest effect. Here’s a look at the best talent in Naraka: Bladepoint.
8/8 Persuasion sign
Rift dealers are all too ready to sell their wares to players who need the necessary gear. Having these items becomes even more important the longer players manage to stay alive. The main problem with this is that the longer players are in the game, the higher the prices become.
With the Persuasion Glyph, they get a discount at the Rift dealers. This is especially useful for those players who do not make many dark coins, and prefer to stay away from the front lines of the battle.
7/8 Twilight Crimson – Viper Ning’s Ultimate
When players have a lot of enemies around them or some of them have become invisible, Viper Ning has just the ultimate for the job. Twilight Crimson will strike them all, making the invisible visible again. However, this will not always work if they are “invisible” because they are hiding behind something such as a bush.
While stunned, they won’t have access to any of their talents, leaving them completely defenseless. It’s the perfect time for the player’s teammates to swoop in and have a free-for-all that destroys the enemy.
6/8 Savagery Glyph
Rage is required to unleash the supernatural ability, or Ultimate, of the player character. Once they’ve had enough during battle, they’ll be able to unleash their Ultimate. Savagery Glyph increases the amount of rage generated during battles and allows the character to build up faster than usual, so they use Ultimate often.
Having access to this talent at the right time can mean the difference between winning and losing the game. Some characters are even strong enough to take out large chunks of enemies with one use of their Ultimate, so having it ready earlier can only be an advantage.
5/8 Inner Fire – Tarka Ji’s F skill
Tarka Ji is an excellent offensive tank. His F skill is Inner Fire, which allows him to block melee attacks. When his blocks are successful, it also allows him to counter, making it both a defensive and offensive skill. When enemies are drawn towards him, away from weaker party members, he will be able to hold his own, defend himself, and then strike down his enemies.
There is a variant of this F skill, known as Bide, that allows him to block projectiles. Using this same variation, he can also knock enemies back with a large fireball.
4/8 Unseen Wings – Matari’s Ultimate
Matari is not one of the most effective characters to pick in Naraka: Bladepoint; however, she is praised for her fast speed. Her ultimate, Unseen Wings, allows her to become nearly invisible and lasts for 25 seconds. When she’s standing still, enemies can’t see her, and when she’s moving, she’s just a faint outline.
Activating this talent also increases the cooldown rate of her F Skill, Silent Flutter. Eventually, she will learn a variation of this Ultimate, making it extremely beneficial. Party members will receive the benefits for 12 seconds when using the variant.
3/8 Spirit Slash – Yoto Hime’s F skill
Yoto Hime’s F Skill allows her to block projectiles. Spirit Slash also allows her to throw her knives at enemies, teleport to them and hit her enemies again. It’s an excellent skill for getting multiple hits on her enemies while maintaining a defensive stance.
Additionally, if she can defeat enemies with the skill active, the cooldown timer will reset. This skill is extremely powerful, and with the bonus of resetting the cooldown timer for a successful kill, players will love having it at their fingertips.
2/8 Rampage Glyph
Rage is essential to using a character’s Ultimate. Building up how much they have during gameplay can be slow and tedious. However, Rampage Glyph can eliminate this problem. It starts the player with more rage than is usual going into a match.
Doing anything to increase the rate at which rage fills is beneficial in giving the player access to their character’s Ultimate. The further into the game, the more difficult the fights become, and an Ultimate can be the fatal edge against the enemy needed to push things over the edge in the player’s favor.
1/8 Ill-Permanent Blade – Yoto Hime’s Ultimate
Ominous Blade is the most powerful of the talents available in the game. Yoto Hime will summon a giant sword that she projects at her enemies. She will then teleport towards the sword. If players press the attack button, she will continue to swing her sword at her enemies, continuing to deal damage.
This ultimate also restores her armor and health. There are variants of the talent, where one will give Yoto Hime more health, and the other will add a couple of weaker attacks at the end.
Naraka: Bladepoint is now available for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
