Distributed ’22, Miro’s fourth annual user conference, was designed to help organizations “make room for people.” Most teams, regardless of location or size, have become dependent on their digital tool stack to get things done, but different teams often use different tools, so knowledge sharing becomes a complicated, tedious task. Also, the tools teams most often use don’t work together and rarely contextualize the information that matters most, making it more complicated for teams across different locations and time zones to get work done.

Interactive presentations: Make presentations interactive for greater engagement and inclusion. An update to Presentation Mode, Interactive Presentations offers a simplified and more advanced toolbar for presenters and audiences alike. Presenters can now display content from the entire board instead of being limited to slideshow style, and audience members can now participate in activity apps, interact with content like sticky notes, and easily join any presentation created when they arrive on a board.
Talk track: Bring greater human connection into the work through blackboard recording. With Talktrack, anyone using Miro can record video or audio walkthroughs of the board. Each board is embedded in the video footage so viewers can interact directly with the board, creating an immersive collaborative experience. Talktrack also allows for multiple whiteboard recordings for multiple users to capture and contextualize each part of a project.
Localization: Miro is meant to be inclusive for everyone, and to keep that promise, the platform is now available in beta in French, German, Spanish and Japanese.
