Cleaning and styling ‘queen’ Chantel Mila has shared her ‘life-changing’ trick for donning a doona in seconds.
The Melbourne mum said the method, often called a ‘burrito roll’, works like ‘magic’ and ensures perfect corners every time.
To perform the hack, mum Mila rolls the doona into the sheets until it’s sausage-shaped, then unrolls it to reveal a neatly made bed.

The mom can fit a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two pillowcases in her linen bundle, and said her simple fold helps “save space, reduce allergens, and neatly folds your sets into bundles.”

1. The mounting cloth
Many people have complained about the effort involved in folding a fitted sheet correctly, but Chantel’s simple method only takes a few seconds and avoids the messy mess.
The mother first laid the sheet on a flat surface with the elastic side up and smoothed it out.
She then placed the bottom corners of the sheet into the top corners and folded the left corner into the right, so that the final shape was a large rectangle.
Then she just folded the top and bottom inward and followed with the sides until the sheet was a small rectangle.
2. The flat sheet
Although it’s much easier to fold a flat sheet, Chantel suggested following the same dimensions as the fitted sheet so it’s easier to fit into the bedding bundle.

3. The pillow products
The first pillowcase is simple: Chantel folded it into a small rectangle and placed it on top of her linen stack.
For the second pillowcase, Mom started by turning it inside out and tucking the bundle of sheets into the opening.
She pushed the pieces to the far end of the pillowcase and folded it in half.
“I use the pillow flap to secure the bundle,” she finally said.
