JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R Unveils DLC Fighters and Roadmap

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R revealed its content plans for the future, because you can’t go wrong when it comes to having more Jojo.


Bandai Namco revealed that it will be releasing new DLC characters for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R and released the roadmap that describes the content for the future. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R features over 50 playable characters, and a generous dose of Easter eggs to satisfy fans of Hirohiko Araki’s work.


Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a fighting game released this year by Bandai Namco and developed by CyberConnect2, the same studio known for creating .hack game series and more Naruto fighting game. All-Star Battle R is a remake of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, a game released in 2013 for the PS3. It brings new game mechanics such as Support Attack, Assault Assist and Reversal Assist, and new playable characters. And according to the new announcement, the big meeting of Jojo’s will soon have even more playable characters.

On December 1, the game will add two free DLC characters, and the first will be Wheater Report, one of Jolyne Cujou’s best allies in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. First seen as a man with no memories, Wheater Report is able to manipulate the weather and/or atmosphere with the powers of his stand. The second character will be Father Pucci (Final), the loyal follower of Dio Brando who is able to manipulate people’s minds and souls through his stand. Pucci will be the same as his version in the original All-Star gamewhere his Stand evolves during battle to C-Moon and Made in Heaven.

Bandai Namco also released the roadmap for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, which reveals future content players can expect from the game. The roadmap begins with Risotto Nero, the user of the Metallica Stand. Risotto’s arrival will be followed by the releases of Wheater Report and Father Pucci (final) in December 2022, and the new Stage Kennedy Space Center which was removed from the original game at launch to avoid spoilers. The rest of the roadmap content has not yet been revealed, but the content has great potential to add to the list above Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Easter eggs that only die-hard fans noticed.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R competing at The Game Awards 2022 for Best Fighting Game alongside DNF duel, The King of Fighters 15, MultiVersusand Sifu. Last year, fans finally saw the long-awaited premiere of the anime adaptation The Stone Seawhich returned this year for its second installment and wants a conclusion. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R having cool mods added to current and future official content has the potential to continue to keep the franchise’s momentum positive.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is available on PC PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
