iPhone apps that support Live Activities and Dynamic Island

Apple released iOS 16.1 to the public on Monday, and among the new features and improvements that come with the update, this version introduces an API for Live Activities on the lock screen and for Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro. Read on as we describe the first iPhone apps to support these features with iOS 16.1.

For those who don’t know, Live Activities is a feature available on all iPhone models running iOS 16 that displays useful app information right on the lock screen. Initially, only a few Apple apps, such as Music and Clock, had Live Activities. But with iOS 16.1, developers can also integrate their apps with this feature.

At the same time, apps that support Live Activities can also display the same information on Dynamic Island for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users. We’ve selected some of the first apps to introduce support for Live Activities and the Dynamic Island API.
