Operator Solis explained

Rainbow Six Siege Operator Solis Breakdown

Solis is a Defender Operator who specializes in discovering enemy whereabouts, all thanks to her SPEC-IO electrosensor helmet which allows her to see and ping electronic devices (both equipped and deployed). Solis does not have a high health pool (110), so players must play carefully while still providing the team with useful information.

Solis’ loadout consists of CQC weapons, such as P90 submachine gun and a SMG-11 submachine gun, making her the ideal choice for a shorter Team Deathmatch. Solis also has one Bulletproof camera which can be mounted on any surface to provide monitoring. Unfortunately, the bulletproof camera can be hacked/disabled, so players will want to place it in a hidden area. Players can also equip one Impact grenadewhich can easily break through walls or floorboards.

Rainbow Six Siege Solis Roleplay

Solis’ main role is to provide her team with valuable information about enemy positions. The SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor Helmet also provides information about electronic devices that may be hidden from other players. For example, enemy attackers can place Claymores (a staple for Grim players) around corners, but with Solis’s SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor Helmet, she’ll be able to notice and disable it before any damage is done.

So the best way to play Solis is to continuously scans key breakpoints and informs teammates of potential hazards. The electro-sensor helmet can also locate targets, so the team knows exactly where to go during a match. But Solis players should keep in mind that movement is limited while wearing the SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor Helmet. So players should only use this Gadget ability when necessary and while protected by other teammates. Solis can be used to pressure enemy positions (especially while equipped with the ITA12L shotgun), but should not forget that her main role in the team is to keep a lookout.
