.hack 20th Anniversary Artbook, Soundtrack Set & More Announced
Developer CyberConnect2 has revealed a number of new items for .hack the franchise’s 20th anniversary.

Game Art Works .hack//20th Vol.1
- Release date: 25 January 2023
- Individual art book: ¥3,750
- Art Book Deluxe Set: ¥11,000
An art book of 160 A4 pages containing all kinds of illustrations from the .hack series!
Pre-orders begin on December 20, 2022 through the CC2STORE International Store.
But if you go to CC2’s Comiket booth (held on December 30th and 31st) in person, you can get the artbook before everyone else! And for just ¥3,500 too.
The deluxe set is pictured below and includes the following:
Paper bag
A bag that has colors that match the main color of the art book. The material provides high durability and strength.
Acrylic sheet
An A4-sized acrylic sheet the same size as the book, with the beautiful illustration by Seiichiro Hosokawa.
Silencer towel and pin tag
A silencer towel and a pin badge with the logo on it

You can either get the three CDs separately for ¥2,750 or a complete box with all three for ¥8,800.
Just like the Art book, you can also go in person to CC2’s Comiket booth (held on December 30th and 31st) and get the soundtrack CDs at a discounted price before they officially hit stores.

Developed by CyberConnect2, .hack// is a multimedia franchise that includes several games, anime, manga, and novels. While the original PS2 quadrilogy took place in the fictional VRMMORPG The World:R1 and followed the adventures of Kite and Black Rose, GU game focuses on Haseo’s quest for the Tri-Edge in the revised The World R:2.
Besides the new fourth entry, the remastered collection includes improved gameplay, higher resolution graphics, and new character models. This consists of a better frame rate and fixes to some systems that initially held the experience back, with tweaks that streamlined the experience and brought it up to more modern quality expectations.
.hack//GU Latest recode is currently available on PlayStation 4, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
