‘Game-changing’ fashion hack to ‘look expensive’ – Meghan Markle is a fan
Feel Good Fashion Coach and royal expert Miranda Holder shared a “simple hack” anyone can follow to “look more expensive”. According to the expert, all people need to do is simply match all their jewelry with all the hardware in their outfits.
She explained: “This is a really great tip for looking really put together and expensive without any effort at all!”
Miranda explained: “Let’s say you’re wearing all gold jewellery, all you have to do is make sure all the hardware on your bags, for example, or your jeans or even your footwear, matches your jewellery, and so is gold.
“The same works if you wear silver jewelry or if you can’t decide, create a cohesive look and use mixed metals throughout.
“Whatever you do to keep things matching, this is a small technique, but it will make a big difference to your entire aesthetic.”

She claimed this is a “super easy game-changing style hack that will make you look so much more expensive and put together with no effort whatsoever”.
“This little hack is all about the details because it’s often the little details that make the biggest impact when it comes to styling. It’s going to change your life!”
Miranda added that people can also mix metals, but it’s preferable to “just keep things consistent and make this a feature in multiple style points of your look”.
She explained that sticking to a single metallic color in all the little details “looks super high-end and expensive”.
Meghan Markle has been seen pulling this trick many times, most recently at the Land Rover Driving Challenge event in the Netherlands earlier this year, when she wore a gold chain, bracelet and rings to match her gold chain bag and the gold buttons on her navy blue blazer.
An easy way to make cheap jewelry look expensive is to avoid statement necklaces and opt for a layered look instead.
For example, people may wear three or four small necklaces that vary in length.
Some specific colors can also make inexpensive jewelry look more expensive, such as rose gold which is a great option to elevate a simple look.

Poor imitations, such as wearing a fake pair of the iconic Chanel earrings, will also detract from the look, so it’s always better to avoid and opt for cheaper originals.
The fashion expert previously told Express.co.uk that the Duchess of Sussex has other style tricks for looking expensive.
She said she always “goes for a minimalist style” by choosing clean outfits that highlight the quality of the clothes and avoid extravagant accessories.
Miranda commented: “Meghan keeps her style understated and clean, letting her beauty and elegance do the talking.
“She prefers simple accessories and focuses on quality over quantity, which looks expensive. She also carefully selects wardrobe staples that flatter her perfectly.”
Meghan often chooses neutral colors, which she can mix and match without any problems.
Having a wardrobe full of neutrals also “takes a lot of the guesswork out of dressing,” added Miranda.
“The focus becomes more on the fabric and the silhouette.” The fashion expert said that taking the time to get these right will “ensure an elegant, expensive look”.
