A fan-made cinematic reveal trailer shows what Golden sunThe main character Isaac wanted to look like he joined Super Smash Bros. fighting game. The Super Smash Bros. the community is active, especially in fan-made animation and modding. This is clear with Super Smash Bros. Brawlits hacking scene, which has been going on since 2009 and still receives mods to this day. One of the biggest mods is Project M, where after it was forced to cease, it spawned offshoots of modders working on their own variants.
One of these variations is known as PMEX REMIX, which adds a number of different characters from Nintendo’s franchises as custom characters. Some of these add-ons even come with special movie trailers modeled after those from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate when it comes to presentation. One of these trailers was made by King Bob Gaming as pictured Golden sunIsaac is in the fight.
Golden sun is a dormant franchise that has had its protagonist represented as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros., with Isaac using the Move ability to push opponents off the stage. He has been a fighter who has been asked to join many times, but has always ended up in the assist trophy category. Many believed his magic and abilities from his home fight would make him a unique fighter. This cinematic trailer shows a story of how he would join, along with the moves he would use in this mod.
The movie trailer itself is quite impressive, and has a high amount of detail and quality that is on par with some of the professionally made trailers for Super Smash Bros. series. While the cast puts up an impressive fight against Master Hand, it isn’t until Isaac uses his Move ability to hold it back and turn the battle around. This motion picture even references an iconic location from Golden sun series, an elemental lighthouse rising from the sea. Isaac himself even gets a special piece of artwork tailored for the trailer as well.
The mod’s gameplay is shown near the end of the trailer, where it uses the same model from Fight, but with a variety of custom movements and animations. This includes spells from Golden sun such as Move and Quake. However, the trailer notes that the mod is still a work in progress and will be released at a later date. The very end of the trailer teases another character who will also be getting a fan-made movie. The final images focus on the moon along with using Majora’s theme, which means Skull Kid from Majora’s Mask will be added as a custom character to Super Smash Bros. with a similar movie trailer from King Bob Gaming as well.
