Star Wars video games have been popular for decades, and many players look forward to the long-awaited Star Wars Jedi: Survivor which will be released on 17 March 2023. This is the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order and will once again focus on Cal Kestis as the main character.

Star Wars games like these have been fan favorites in the pastForce Unleashed and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Next to Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Knights of the Old Republic turns twenty in 2023, which will hopefully be the perfect time to hear more news about the remake.


10/10 Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire

Pokémon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire is Pokémon games that focus on the Hoenn region and were some of the best Pokémon game ever. These were big steps forward for the franchise in terms of better graphics and primarily a focus on the new Pokémon added to the region.

It felt like the most unusual game at the time because PokémonGold and Pokemon Silverin addition to Pokémon Crystalshares an Elite Four with Kanto and also posts to that region. Pokémon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire forged its own path and provided an incredible experience players have not forgotten.

9/10 The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

The Wind Waker has long been one of the most beloved video games due to its artistic beauty, incredible sense of adventure with its wide enchanting sea and incredible action. Wind Waker is one of the best The Legend of Zelda game and many fans have strongly requested a Nintendo Switch port of the HD remaster.

Given that the HD remaster was added ten years ago to the Wii U, in honor of the game’s 10th anniversary, it’s not too far to wonder if the game will receive a port to the Nintendo Switch for the 20th anniversary.

8/10 Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most iconic video games in the franchise and currently has a remake in development. This game is more unique than most Star Wars game fans are familiar with because of its RPG style and turn-based combat.

The story of the game is amazing and the best video game Star Wars characters such as Revan, Bastila Shan and Darth Malak have become as memorable and beloved as the main characters of the film series. It is unknown when Knights of the Old Republic remake will be released but it will make quite a few changes like a new battle system.

7/10 Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy Lightsaber Combat Duels

This game can switch between a couple of different ways to play. It can either be a first-person game or a third-person game. Players can also either use blasters or lightsabers. While the player can usually choose how they want to play the game, using a lightsaber can only be done in third person.

The game allows full customization of the player’s character and the player goes through relatively simplistic missions covering important planets in Star Wars universe. The story isn’t anything complex, but the gameplay is incredibly fun, and it feels like the player is really training to become a Jedi in this new order.

6/10 Duty calls

Duty calls has become perhaps the most famous first-person shooter, and it all started twenty years ago in 2003 with this. Many fans still claim this Duty calls has the best campaign out of Duty calls game, but has one of the weaker multiplayer modes.

This does Duty calls a bit of a rarity since most players today skip the campaigns and only play multiplayer or zombie game modes. Duty calls has a total of three campaigns that took place during World War II – American, British and Soviet Union.

5/10 The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is based on the film of the same name and is one of the best video games in the Middle-Earth series. The game is primarily a hack-and-slash and allows the player to play as most of the main characters in the films.

The game follows the story of the movie well with some extra action scenes. However, because it is an adaptation of a single movie, it makes the game incredibly short, which is one of the few but major disappointments regarding the game.

4/10 Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time came and went rather quickly, but was critically beloved as one of the best time travel video games ever. The game has since been almost completely forgotten until a recent announcement was made that the game would receive a remake originally scheduled for 2023.

Interestingly, this game is originally a reboot in addition to a 1989 video game series of the same name. The sands of time itself possesses incredible gameplay and a great story. Those who haven’t played the game but have seen the live-action movie shouldn’t be dissuaded from giving the game a try, as it’s so much better than the movie.

3/10 Mario Kart: Double Dash

Mario Kart: Double Dash has long been one of the most popular Mario Kart game thanks to the incredible tracks and the wide variety of characters to choose from.

In many ways it is Mario Kart games that came after have surpassed Double Dashbut, Double Dash has a certain grip on nostalgia that will always keep players coming back. A future remaster for the game is unlikely, but it is possible that several iconic tracks from the game could end up in a future game.

2/10 Final Fantasy X-2

Final Fantasy X-2 was a completely different type of game from Final Fantasy X or indeed any of the others in the past Final Fantasy game. It feels like a mix of Sailor Moon and J-pop music alongside Final Fantasy gameplay which is a rather bizarre combination.

This game was surprisingly loved by many fans and performed well critically. The conclusion of the game was also satisfying for the fans who were still heartbroken Final Fantasy Xends. Square Enix also plans to make one Final Fantasy X-3but it will not begin development until they are completely finished Final Fantasy VIIremakes.

1/10 Sonic Heroes

Sonic Heroes is one of these 3D Sonic game that fans remember was much better than it actually was. Many Sonic games are in desperate need of a remaster or remake, and Sonic Heroes should be near the top of priority.

Despite that, the game has some amazing levels and four different storylines for the player to follow, all of which are incredible. This game created a newfound love for relatively unknown characters at the time from Team Chaotix which consisted of Espio, Vector and Charmy.
